Edwin A. Abrahamsen

Ned Abrahamsen

Edwin (Ned) Abrahamsen was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Franklin & Marshall College in 1973 and his Juris Doctorate from the Dickinson School of Law in 1976. In 1976, he was admitted to the Bar in Pennsylvania. He was admitted before the U.S. Court of Appeals, Third Circuit in 1980 and was admitted to the Supreme Court of the United States in 1993. He has been named a "Pennsylvania Super Lawyer" every year since 2006. The rigorous selection process is very comprehensive and recognizes only the top 5% of lawyers in the state.

Mr. Abrahamsen possesses a wide depth of expertise in the areas of collection law and personal injury cases. He also has extensive experience in the areas of workers’ compensation, social security and complex commercial litigation.

He is a certified Civil Trial Advocate by The National Board of Trial Advocacy, a Pennsylvania Supreme Court Accredited Agency, along with being a Certified Member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. This Forum is recognized as one of the most prestigious groups of trial lawyers in the United States. He holds many professional memberships, including the National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys and both the Pennsylvania and Federal Bar Associations.

Mr. Abrahamsen’s performs pro bono work for many worthy causes in the area he resides.
